Tawana D. Feimster, DDS, MS, attended Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, where she completed her first two years of dental school. She then transferred to Howard University College of Dentistry to complete her DDS degree after having been granted a research position at the National Institute of Health (NIH) (2003). Dr. Feimster conducted her general practice training at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York. Next, she completed Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences and a certificate in Endodontics at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry (2006). In addition, Dr. Feimster received board certification in endodontics from the American Board of Endodontics. She remains an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society, the Houston Academy of Endodontists, the Edward C. Penick Endodontic Study Club, the National Dental Association, and the Old Dominion Dental Society. Prior to dental school, she acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1995. Dr. Feimster is a volunteer with Give Kids A Smile, Missions of Mercy, and The Greater Houston Dental Society. For more information about Tawana D.
